I did have a immersion chiller 50' 1/2'' that worked good but I wanted to cut down on how much water I was using to chill the wort. I now have a 25' counterflow that work real good. The only draw back is that you have to make sure it is sanitized real good.

Do you know what brand it is? I would check with the manufacturer just to make sure there's no toxic chemicals in it.

I did a stout a couple months ago 1.123. I hit with pure oxygen for 3-4mins then again 12hrs later for a min. FG 1.019. I think your yeast may have ran out of oxygen.

How did you aerate before pitching the first time?

I made a huge starter and then put half in after brewing hit it with some pure oxygen. I started to see activity after about 4 hours, waited another 12 and then pitch the rest of the yeast. The starter was over a gallon, it filled a mason jar half way. Next time I make a huge beer i'm going...

I did this. I also repitch more yeast when I aerated with oxygen at the 12hr. Og 1.126 Fg 1.019
