fermenting has stopped what to do

Ok thanks for all of the info guys. I'll try getting the temp lower next time. I guess it's time to invest in a fermenting chamber just not sure on the electronics part of the build

fermenting has stopped what to do

Today it the 4th day of fermenting and the airlock has stopped bubbling. There was a good amount of airlock action last night but not today. Is that normal is there anything i can do or is it a goner. The temp reads 75 on the side of the bucket also.

    saison brewing question

I just brewed my first Belgian saison yesterday evening and my kit says to ferment at 64 to 72 degrees so I dropped it to around 72. I have been doing some reading on here and it's suggested that the fermenting temp should be higher like around 80. When I woke up this morning it was fermenting...

    quick hydrometer question

When I took my first reading the hydrometer reading was 60 so does that mean 1.060? My ingredient kit says the OG is 1.071 -1.076. So did I do something wrong and when do I check it again should it read lower or higher than the 60 I got initially. When I checked it the temp was about 70 degrees.

    fermenting temp question

OK thanks for the replies, but doesn't using a secondary clear up the beer, or is there another way? I'm pondering on adding orange zest to my beer batch but a little unclear on how to go about it. I've read some of the threads on here about it and still a bit unsure. Do I add after or before I...
