    Full bodied wheat recipe?

I'm looking for a recipe for a full bodies wheat extract recipe. I want something with some substance while still having that what flavor. Not really too bitter either. Anyone know of a good recipe you've tried?

    Breckenridge Vanilla Porter?

I haven't got around to brewing this yet. I have to bottle the two batches in my firmenters this week and then I plan to brew this and a huckleberry wheat. Probably this weekend.

    Tried First Beer, Tastes Yeasty

I tried another of each brew and paid more attention to the pouring technique and LOVED my beers. They were both really good and I see them getting better with age. Thanks everyone.

    Tried First Beer, Tastes Yeasty

Fermentation temp is a steady 70 degrees. Temp in the room they are in is 65 degrees. How exactly does this change things? I am just curious as to the science behind this? I just racked the wort into secondaries. Both had SG of around 1.010, so they should be good to go in the secondary. I used...

    Tried First Beer, Tastes Yeasty

Thanks for the tips guys. I noticed the two bottles I sampled were a lot cloudier than the other bottles in the basement. They might have gotten shaken up a bit in the fridge. I will try again, and if they still taste of yeast I will give them more bottle time. My two batches in the firmenters...

    Tried First Beer, Tastes Yeasty

I tried my first two batches last night, on bottle of each. They both tasted a little yeast-like, the Cream Ale more than the Oktoberfest. They were decent, but definitely need to get rid of that yeast flavor. I also noticed the bottles have about 1/8" of sediment in the bottom. Will the yeast...

    Huckleberry Wheat

Thanks for the info. I week do some more research on the huckleberries and how much to add. I'm not sure how many pounds I currently have but I think it's 2 or 3 quart ziplock bags. If it's somewhere between .5 and 1 lb per gallon I'll probably just add them all. Huckleberries are not real...

    First "Real" Fruit Beer

I just wanted some help figuring out how I am supposed to do a "real" fruit beer. I am wanting to do a Huckleberry Wheat, since I already have frozen Huckleberries. When do I add the berries? Secondary? I don't really have a secondary, but I was thinking I could rack into the bottling...

    Huckleberry Wheat

I am wanting to make a huckleberry wheat and was wondering how much fruit I should add and when I add this? I have read that you should use frozen berries so that the cells of the fruit are broken open and the sugars are released. And I believe I am supposed to add to the secondary, but any...

    Best fruit wheat?

Any other input? I was really thinking about the huckleberry wheat.

    Best fruit wheat?

I am wanting to do a fruit wheat and want to know what paroles favorites are. I have seen apricot, raspberry, blueberry, orange, and watermelon. I want something with a slight fruit taste nothing over powering. I was thinking of having my dad send me some huckleberries and doing a huck beer...

    No action in primary (PICS)

Thanks everyone. I just wanted to let everyone know that you were definitely right. The reason I opened the buckets in the first place was to add 1lb of sugar that I forgot in the original boil. The morning after I made this thread the airlock was making more bubbles. It's definitely working.

    Breckenridge Vanilla Porter?

I agree with what both of you said. Thanks for the info. I will look into Beersmith. I will also do a 6g boil and rack 5.5 as said into the firmenter. I am so stoked on this brew, I can't wait till my firmeters are empty so I can start on this one!

Sorry. I'm very new. I made mistakes. Now I learn from them...i think I'm just going to leave it alone.

Thanks guys. I can barely read the reading off the white board. I think it says 1.056. I will take another today. Then I will leave it alone.

Extract kit. From The Beer Nut here in SLC. It was their red ale kit.

The camera was 2' above the bucket. It was my phone. Is this really that dangerous?

Temp has been constant at 65 in the house, and the other bucket has a stick on thermometer reading 68.
