    Identify this bottle

Hello, I don't post much because I don't need to, you have all my questions answered, so thanks for that :D I found this bottle in the woods in southeastern WI, it is Red Stripe shaped, but twist off, and has a cool barley and hop marking along the neck, with an Eagle-type crest. Here are...

    Favorite IPA Kit?

I made the hophead and was very happy with it. It is certainly not a hop bomb. At around 7%, it makes a tasty beer indeed.

    Should I try this?

I would use the hops, they are probably fine. If you are worried about them, add on top of them, but don't waste them :(

    Bottling automation ideas

This was my idea, though I was only going to add one more spigot. If each has its own dip tube, there is no reason to worry about pressure. The most valuable addition to bottling though, is a helper.

    Any historical beer recipes?

Lithia Beer West Bend, WI This beer is from my hometown, I'm not sure if you can track down a recipe though. The small Riverside Brewery/Restaurant in the Downtown area currently has a revisited version of this on tap. Tastes like a fuller bodied American Lager

    Kansas City April 24-26

I'll be down in Kansas City for the Fuente event at the Outlaw Cigar Co. I thought I'd check in here and see how many HBTers are in the area, (maybe interested in cigars?) and if anyone would be brewing/drinking any of those days. My Saturday is pretty well tied up with the event, but I'll be...

    Trellis on House Question

My concern with this, as I'm doing it myself, is that the sun will bake the bines with reflected light. My house is a darker shade of blue, not super dark, but not light either. I'm not sure if this will be a problem for me... or for you.

    Extract Late Brewing

I did a chocolate porter yesterday. Added 3# of Amber malt at the beginning of the boil, and 3# about 30 minutes in. We'll see how that turns out.

    Grain Storage

Hmm, that 2 weeks in a paper bag on top of the fridge might be of concern.

    Grain Storage

Actually, I've been wondering this too.
