I've been wanting lasik for awhile. 10 years ago, my friend's dad flew to Canada and back to have the surgery done for cheaper than having it done here. I haven't looked into it lately, but it would be nice to get me some lasik soon.

On that note... could I primary for 2-3 weeks and then keg them and leave them sit in the keg as secondary for up to a couple months before putting the keg into the fridge and carbonating? If so... PERFECT!

Say you have your Sanyo 4912 conversion and room for 2 kegs. If you make 5 batches and they have gone through primary and secondary and have racked to your multiple kegs, how long can you just leave it sit there in the keg before it goes into the kegerator?

I currently have a batch in primary that I wouldn't mind pitching a new batch on top of after I bottle it. There's 3oz of pellet hops in there right now (1oz 60min, 1oz 15min, 1oz 0min). If it is ok, is there going to be any flavor/aroma in them that will come through on the next batch?

^ hahahahaha!!!!!! I paid $5-$6 per gallon on my batch, because it came in these awesome little 1gal glass fermenters! I'll be using them for apfelwein from now on, but I'll be looking for cheaper juice. You and I probably paid twice as much as we should.

I think I could talk him to $150 or maybe even a trade on some stuff I have and am not using, but I wasn't really impressed with it. The top gauge on the regulator was working, the gauge that's down and to the left is busted. The freezer itself has some dents and rusted scratches and a nasty...

Chest freezer, two CO2 tanks (they're probably 5lbs each, but maybe 10), one keg, Johnson controller, and all the extras and such for a complete system and it's already built and running. He also wants to throw in the cleaning kit and some line cleaner and PBW he has. I'm going to look at it...

Local guy selling one with Johnson controller, one 5gal corny, one CO2 tank (size unknown), regulator, gauges, raised wood thing, one tap, and everything currently being used and working fine. What would be a fair price with and without the keg - he's thinking about keeping the keg.

Asking because everyone's saying the 4912 can just fit the 5lb tank, and I was thinking of going with this one. Wondering how often I'll have to refill it.

All I can say is WOW! I thought that my bottled beer might have an off flavor after a week or so of sitting in a sometimes lit room. Even if the skunking is considerably less than direct sunlight... just wow.
