This actually isn't all that good

If I am not drinking my homebrew, like at a restaurant, I usually drink Tequila as I cant stand the beers. But there is this one pub close by that has 25 different craft beers on draft. 90 minute Doghead, Racer 5, and Black Bear Stout are some of the ones I remember at the moment. I will drink...

You said you bought Mr Beer.. Try that and see what you think as far as sanitizing and bottling goes. They make it easy. Check out some of their advanced recipes, the beginning ones are not that good. As you find out what you like to do and what not, you will determine what you need. With a...

Fermentation cooler vs refrigerator vs son of fermentation

I have a side by side in the house and a bottom freezer in the garage. The side by side is a pita to deal with. Always too small for the amount of food it takes to feed us. When company comes, I have to give up my beer fridge for food. There would be no way I could fit multiple carboys in the...

    Hydrometer readings

I have been using a hydrometer for a while and am familiar with its use and function. Today was the first day I actually read the piece of paper that was in the new one I just bought. Tile is hard on glass instruments. Anyway, the paper said the "Neither Wine or Beer should be bottled until...
