Rauchbier Cherry Beech Smokebeer (Many Awards)

    been a while...

Its a Rauchbier that used about 65% smoked malts (beechwood and cherrywood) the wort tasted like bbq sauce. Smokey and sweet. After fermentation it tasted so smokey that I expected to breathe smoke after a sip. For the dry hogging I took about 1/3 lb of maple bacon (about 6 strips) and baked it...

Love it! looks awesome. Description is witty, and i like the "Not for sale yet...." I'd try it if i based my beer buying on labels.

    Brewery names--what's your story?

I wanted something simple. not to complex. I went with "Brevity Brewing" because that is the definition of what I am about. I don't use crazy complex brew systems, and I like to keep things short, sweet and to the point. Brevity Brewing - Beer for drinking.

Fruit Beer Something Borrowed, Something Blueberry ale

Please add your tasting notes after you make it. I sat it on gas for 2 weeks at 20 psi. A little more carbonation to suit the fruitiness.

Fruit Beer Something Borrowed, Something Blueberry ale

I also let it sit in a bright tank for 4 weeks. I didn't have a keg to rack it into. So once I picked up some from keggle brewing and Craig's list, I cleans those and racked into that.

    Little Carbonation after one week

Revvy, I think this is the most pasted statement from you. I believe in the past month I have seen this about 5 times.... Also I used to think "Man this guy is harsh!" But after seeing it over and over, your words are perfect!

    Just had my public debut

Well I hade about 1/4 a keg when I picked it up this morning. But the wedding was only 40 people and it wasn't on the list at the bar so I put up my own little sign with the logo on it. I had to eavesdrop on people because I didn't want to just ask. I was afraid of people lying to be kind...

    Just had my public debut

So I made a blueberry beer for my sisters wedding, I let it age about 2 months and I took my time. Last night was the wedding and I was extremely nervous. It was only my 3rd all grain batch. So I set up my rolling jockey box and let the bartender so her thing. Although it was poorly...

So I pulled the trigger and bought a keg today. Questions.

It could be a converted ball lock. 52 for the keg unfortunately is getting close to the costs. But you can still find some cheaper. But shipping is a huge factor for you as well. Where did you order it from?
