Hefe has a band aid taste overnight. About to pull my hair out

Hey HBT, As some of you may have seen I have been struggling with my hefe and arrogant bastard I kegged too early. I pulled both out of kegerator and set them to condition more at room temp for 2 more weeks making them 4 weeks old. Yesterday I threw the hefe back in the kegerator at 12 p.s.i...

Help a fellow save his kegged Arrogant and Hefe ... Have conflicting advice .. poll

Two week update ... So I went with #1 first as recommended. They have been sitting in my bathroom for two weeks (72-74 degrees). A few hours ago I stuck the hefe back in the fridge. Unable to wait til this evening I tasted the still pretty warm hefe. Wow! 2 weeks ago it was very...

Feel like 2nd brew went crappy.

Sounds like a good night, all the same At least you'll always remember it LOL. I've done worse. Once I was making my Texas Kolsch and I had a glass thermometer explode in the boil, forgot 3 lbs of DME extract (that I had to add later after I pitched yeast), and added an extra 1/2 gallon of...

Dissapointed in Arrogant Bastard Clone ... thoughts on how I went wrong?

I've started a new thread, but that is great advice. It is similar to my #1 option in my new thread :) thanks for the idea ...

Thanks for both replies guys. Unfortunately no, I did not on either. I understand this makes it harder to give advice. However, the arrogant was just so much sweeter than any beef I've ever done, and the hefe is just watery and very wheaty/murky/cloudy

Hey HBT, Mods: This is a partial continuation of my "dissapointed in my arrogant bastard clone" thread and can be merged if necessary. I apologize in advance if this isn't the most descriptive thread, I am holding an upset 16 week old and typing on my iPad. About two weeks ago last...

It is/was the California ale yeast from white labs ... Double pitched

Is there enough yeast left in the keg to "finish the job?"

So ... What is my strategy to get this keg back on track per se? Should I pull it out, leave it at room temp pressurized, and hope for the best? Re pitch yeast? Thoughts?

Sweet Arrogant bastard, the breakfast of champions! Or alcoholics lol Either way, here it is. It is admittedly a little less sweet today (kegged on Saturday at noon ish).

I don't think I got too much trub .... Maybe a little? Not more than I've ever had in any other beer. Ill go pour a sample and post a picture right now.

Maybe so. I tend to think I just didn't let it ferment long enough :( I have had AHBS kits ever since I started. This is the only one I've flubbed up

I did not make a starter, I have never done that before ... Need to learn. I did double pitch the California ale yeast from white labs. Took off like a rocket in 12 hours. Active fermentation the whole two weeks, was even bubbling/had airlock activity when I went to siphon it out.

No strainer bag or anything .... Just a good old siphon and hose.
