I have been brewing for 7 yrs and plastic has always been my way to go. Started in buckets and am now in a Fast Ferment. I saw the carnage that a broken carboy can create.

On hot days I run tubing through an ice bath. I have let it sit overnight with little to no issue. Just remember to take your hop bag out.

HopTech has Galaxy hops for $4.75 for 2 oz. Lots of tropical fruit in these. I'm making an IPA single hopped with Galaxy tonight.

Just to clarify.....HopTech Homebrewing Supplies is still HopTech. They were sold last year and the seller took the soda line with them, The Homemade Soda Company. HopTech still sells homebrewing supplies.
