Heating Element in a Recirculating System

I think Auber needs an "electric homebrew kit" that includes everything you need, because this is getting crazy with so many people going electric... myself included!

    Electrical Primer for Brewers

I'm in no hurry, I just wanted to make sure you saw there was interest and that your words wouldn't go to waste, at least not by this homebrewer. If you lived near me I'd give you homebrew for your contributions.

    Electrical Primer for Brewers

Not to be pushy, but when does the next installment come out? Once I get a pump I'll finally have all my pieces to start wiring up my eHLT, eBK and pump. Oddly, my wife has been very supportive of my hobby. This simultaneously frightens and enlightens me. I hope I didn't miss our anniversary...

Two 230 volt March 809 pumps

Could you just wire it to a plug and plug it in? Though I guess a switch would be much better because then I could wire my HLT, BK and Pump to it and select between them...

Two 230 volt March 809 pumps

If someone is brewing with an all-electric setup using a 240v source, is there any reason why one of these would be a bad idea? I'm interested if the answers are positive.

NEW 30A 240v GFCI Plug-in ready to use cord!

LOL, how many of these things did you buy? I need to upgrade my receptacle (luckily the correct line was already run) and swap out my dryer cord to a 4-prong.

Wow, nice job. Now I'm debating on selling my TDD-3 once I'm done fixing it up!

WTB Corona Mill or Grain Crusher

Another option is checking the DIY section and making one out of a pasta roller. My wife picked one up for me for something like $15, but I haven't modified it yet. Others have had pretty good success with it.

    1/2 Price BYO

How does BYO compare to Zymurgy? Is it worth having both? I got something in the mail for BYO but I can't justify spending $30 on it for a year.

Jon, I PMed for 5. I'm the one that picked up 7 from you before. I let my buddies know too.

    Worth it? Kegerator

For a new TDD-1, that's not a terrible price. I got my used TDD-3 for $300 though and found 2 Danby kegerators that'll hold a sankey for $100 each. I'm borrowing one and I'm pretty sure I can fit 3 cornies in there.

kegs for sale northern DE/SE PA

I have a feeling they won't last long.

    what to do ?

Wow, what a shame. I was calculating how long it would take me to free up one of my cornies to rack it to. I figure I could've cleared space in about a month, but chances are I probably would've ended up giving most of it away.

    True TDD-3 Kegerator - $500

If it holds 2 sankeys it's a TDD-2. If it holds 3, it's a TDD-3. I just picked up a TDD-3 a couple months ago and I'm worried about the size. It'll need a good cleaning though so I'll check through your thread for inspiration.

    what to do ?

Well, what are you looking to trade. I'm not too far away and might be able to make a short trip up to Limerick.
