American Pale Ale Bee Cave Brewery Haus Pale Ale

My latest batch of this is fermenting around 59f as well and also with us05. What exactly will the low fermentation temperature do to the beer? I also plan on dry hopping this one with an oz of mosaic. Should I move it to a warmer spot for the dry hop addition?

Hello and how ya doin? I'm a fairly new brewer and i think I've hit the ground running, which is awesome! Thanks to a very knowledgable brewmeister I work with on the daily I've been introduced to homebrewing this past summer. When this guy told me he made his own beer I knew we would be great...

American Pale Ale Bee Cave Brewery Haus Pale Ale

I wanna brew this with all mosaic instead of cascades...would anyone who's familiar with mosaic advise against that? I've tried a sample with mosiac in it at my LHBS, and it was mighty tasty. I was also thinking of adding another ounce of it too. I don't know enough about when to add it to the...

    GF fat tire clone attempt

What I will most likely do is grab another sample next week and see if the gravity is still dropping. At that point if it is down another 10 pts or so ill just let it keep working. If its talking I sweet time ill buy another pack and try re-pitching. I really appreciate the input and advice...

    GF fat tire clone attempt

I pitched somewhere around 68deg. not higher than that. Fermenting at about 60deg. maybe up to 65. No i didn't rehydrate the yeast, so far between two extract batches and two ag biab stovetop batches i pitched one pack dry for each 5gal. batch and haven't had any issues yet. On the same day i...

    BIAB IPA Help.....

I've started out doing biab all grain recipes on my stove stop. I've had good luck with doing two separate boils. It's the best way, I think, to get the most volume with the highest efficiency. I'm still pretty much a noob, but I've got a pretty knowledgable teacher. It's a lot of work, but I've...
