I like this time at night on HBT

I agree with this. I've been through, and responded to, quite a few hurricanes. Unless there is massive flooding in the area that your are going to, they tend to get cleaned up pretty quickly. Once they get the power back up, it doesn't take long for things to get back to close to normal.

Don't sweat it. You washed it. Rinse it out well and brew on, McDuff!

    Pipe smoking, a lost art.

I did a quick clean up on the pipe with when I first got it with alcohol, pipe cleaners and q-tips so I could smoke it to see how it smoked. It smoked fine, but about halfway through, I realized there was a taste to it that was familiar. After some thought, I realized that it tasted just like I...

    Pipe smoking, a lost art.

Hey all! First post in the pipe thread... I've smoked cigars for years, but about a year ago my son bought me a corncob pipe and I gave it a shot. I am now a full fledged pipe smoker. I bought a couple of cheap briars and enjoy smoking them, but I wanted to expand my collection and rotation and...

Keezer: I guess it's my turn

Another thing to add to the update: I spent a lot of time putting hinges on the collar as well as the lid. I thought if I could open the collar it would make it easier to move kegs in and out. It was a waste of my time. I never open the collar. I always open the lid when I move kegs in and out...

What are your contrarian/"unpopular" beer opinions?

If I see it before anyone posts in a thread that starts out with "What would you call..." I answer with a name. Bob, Fred, whatever comes to mind. I don't care if anybody else thinks it's funny or not, but I get a kick out of it ;)

Keezer: I guess it's my turn

I've been using my keezer for over 5 years now, so I thought I would update. Photo bucket wants me to pay for third party hosting, so the pictures don't show up in the thread. I'll have to post them from my computer. I can't go back and edit my posts to add them, so I'll put them here (if...
