Trading my electric brewery with my dryer

Quick question, I am doing a 30 amp setup and looking for a GFCI breaker to put in. I plan on keeping my current dryer breaker in (not GFCI protected) then running in a spa breaker in my brewery. Will a 50 amp GFCI still provide me with the protection I need if I am still only running 30 amps...

    Cheap ss weldless bulkhead idea.

I just talked with a sales rep at proflow and he is working on getting washers on the site and he sent me a picture of how it fits. I put in an order with them and he is going to throw one in to let me test it out. If it all works out he will have tons of them made and put them on the site. Ill...

    Cheap ss weldless bulkhead idea.

Yeah they are. I am doing 1/2 inch. What size will fit over? Idk why they sent me the .5 and .53 but I think the .62 one will fit over the nipples. What size should I request? These are for text fittings so I would like to contact them as soon as possible to change the size.

    Cheap ss weldless bulkhead idea.

Just got 3 different washers sizes .5 , 0.533, and 0.62 sent to me to test for sizing against the nipples I ordered. So all the parts are on there way and if it works ill post pics of my findings. Im around 10 dollars after shipping costs. We will see. If anything, for the electric brewery...

Trading my electric brewery with my dryer

I just watched s walked through on using a PID with manual mode and it is way easier than I expected to turn it down. I want to know if the ebc III's 2nd pid controlling the pump on and off is necessary. This diagram I have has it removed so I assumed its not necessary to cut the pump on and...

    Cheap ss weldless bulkhead idea.

I was including the price of the valve as well. Ill get those if this doesn't work out. I emailed the sales people at proflow and they are fitting washers they have now and said they will give me an estimate and let me know. so I might be getting them for around 8 bucks a piece plus the 10% off...

    Cheap ss weldless bulkhead idea.

I just cant justify spending 35 or more dollars on a weldless ball valve. Plus I want at 3-piece which will be even more. If I needed 1 that would be one thing but I want 9. So spending 315 dollars just for fittings seems insane to me. There has to be a better and cheaper way to do and do it...

Trading my electric brewery with my dryer

The control panel was wired with the intentions of being similar to the EBC III. The only thing its missing that I would like a dial to control the element that is powered on so Ill be able to slow my boil. Where would I add it? between the PID and SSR? here's the diagram...

Trading my electric brewery with my dryer

The depth was a concern of mine on the box. I was just throwing ideas around. I like the idea of finding the cord with it built in. Although I have heard mixed things about them.

Trading my electric brewery with my dryer

Ill look into it. That would really be so much easier. Is it an extension cord basically? So all I would have to do is make up the difference in distance with the cord ill be installing into my control panel? Easy enough. What do you think of these ss pots...

Trading my electric brewery with my dryer

I was thinking of getting a spa panel and taking the gfci in it and replacing the current one in my main with that. Then using the 10" by 7" (or so) box to house my control panel for the brewery. Then the power cord for it would just be 35' long and plug into the socket. Think that will work...
