    Yet Another Sanyo 4912!

cool, looks just like my sylvania Kegerator, did you have to take the inside door panel out? I replaced mine with a Stainless sheet insert in place of the vacuum molded plastic panel. now I can hold 2 kegs and a 5lb botlle . I assume yours does the same by the looks of the 2 taps. Nice Job!!.

    Mmmm foam....

After some time , if that still doesn'twork.(all cold of course.) I'd say use like 15' of hose or so and see how that goes. than just kepp cutting back a foot at a time till its balanced. and of course try to drink all the pours while balancing it. could be a fun balancing act!! :mug:

    force carb after 7 days

If its that fresh you may consider filtering it into the keg. I've done that with just a regular "loner" filter and pump from the brew shop. and it cleared it up nice than I did just like the other said and force "Quick" carbed it. it was good to go next day. but I must say it did taste better...

    LOCK N LOAD:I Want a beer gun!

I was thinking about getting one of these too. to bottle a few off my keg to give to freinds etc. Do they work well? do you need to be overcarbonated in the keg prior to using it or will you have good carbonation level in the bottle if/when keg is carbed at regular levels? Does this work as good...

    Keg Question

I was in the same boat as you, I got 2x 5 gal kegs given to me too. So I had to buy a little fridge. I just threw the keg in the fridge till it was cold and than put the co2 to it. I went a little higher on the pressure than the volumes chart said and did the shake method. you could hear the CO2...

    First batches

I haven't homebrewed in years, mainly cause it was a pain washing bottles, I thought I'd give the 5gal kegs and CO2 a try. 2 batches down and I was impressed how easy it was. 1st batch Pale Ale was good, 2nd batch a cream ale was better. problem with it is it makes it so you can drink it even...

    fermentation vessel preference?

Hey guys, For those of you using conicals, do you transfer into a 2ndary carboy or do all the fermentation in the conical? also do you dump any crap out of the bottom during fermentation. I'm interested in going to conical fermenter. any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
