IPA Tastes Terrible. What to do with it?

I still am astonished at how a few weeks can change a beer. My current lager had a sweet taste after 3 weeks lagering, at 4 weeks the taste was incredible.

    Austin Homebrew Supply

I switched to Austin after seeing the shipping costs of my usual place go up again. Austin charges 6.99 for orders under a 100 bucks.

    lager help

Give it some time, when I do lagers I generally make a gallon starter and have activity in 12 hours or so. I'm not a calculations guy so I can't say for sure but it would seem that you under pitched. I would give it time.

Do You Cook With Your Homebrew???

I'm eating beer bread at this moment that has 12oz of my lager in it. I also cook the hell out of some Wisconsin beer brats simmered in what ever I have on tap.

    New Kegger in town...HELP!

There has been some success using vodka and cornstarch applied in a paint like manner. The heat from the lines will be visible in the cornstarch. http://www.brewboard.com/index.php?showtopic=82951 Here is a discussion about the method.
