    Shock from heater element

    I have a cut on my finger and recieved a slight shock which I think was from my heating element. I tested the water with a voltmeter and got a slight reading, around 30 volts or so. I realized the heating element was not grounded. When i ran a ground wire the voltmeter did not register...
