    I purchased 3 gallons of juice. The BRIX is 13, it says add 3 lb's of sugar. What kind of sugar is this? Table Sugar? Corn Sugar?

    Reverend, after you pitch, put it in your lagering chest.... There is no need to wait 24 hours, this is just to ensure fermentation takes off. Also, I'm using saflager and the "best" temp is 53.3 degrees. Check your yeast vendor's temps for the optimal temp. Cheers.

    Got my kegging set up TODAY!!!!

    Grog, why did you buy a kegging setup? No one kegs anymore, we use airatomic pushing through blastic valves. Kegging leads to bad beer :)

    I would like to know what additives are worth it and what are not. I keep spending money on every additive I find to make "SUPER YEAST" but, i'm sure some of these are gimicky. Could you please respond with the additive and its noticeable usefullness.

    I assume you are talking about a corny keg? I dont understand, you dont have a co2 system or something? Your barrel has a "tap"? I'm lost, could you please explain more :)

    My GF doesnt like beer.... She barely likes to drink, but I think if I can brew a wine cooler, or something sweet with her, she might dig the process. When I visited the coors company, they had some sweet stuff that they actually brewed. Anyone have recipe's/idea's for this?

    New to the forum. Have a question about brew time for 6 gallons.
