One to two weeks is recommended for carbing with MrB bottles. I've also heard they might need longer, as in 3-5 weeks...

I also use the search forum option quite often... very useful tool.

Just tasted my WCPA after one week of fermenting. Very sweet still.... but I will give it another week then taste it again.... made me excited though its my first brew :) I could taste and smell the beer a lot but still sweet. Can't wait!

I'm heading into RN school this coming fall (if accepted). I'm getting my RN, then if I 100% decide to, go on and become a physician. So I'll be like 35 when I'm done with college :(

What would be the best sugar to use for bottling WCPA? Well, what is the added outcome, if any, for different types of sugar? I've got another week before I bottle, and my friend has 2 weeks for his (we both purchased the Mr Beer kits that came with WCPA).

Isn't here in Wichita yet.... but I'm ready to try it :)

Welcome! Fellow Kansan here, and I just started my very first brew with Mr. Beer making the West Coast Pale Ale it came with, only a week into fermenting as of tomorrow. I have already learned a lot this past week being here :)
