    NOOB brew pot question

I purchased the Williams brewing kit about 2 years ago and couldn't be happier with it. By far it is the best bang for your buck. You don't realize how nice a spigot on your kettle is until you have one. No it doesn't come with a secondary. But you can purchase one at Williams or your LHBS. When...

Forgot to add end of boil hops...

Brewing a Norther Brewer Sinistral Warrior IPA Extract. Hop additions: 1oz Magnum (60 min) 1oz Centennial (15 min) 1oz Cascade (15 min) 2oz Warrior (0 min) I forgot to add the 2oz of Warrior Hops at the end of the boil. I realized this after I had already cooled the wort and was...

The myth of the <$50 corny keg

I just ordered 2 kegs from bvrgelements.com. I got the ones with broken handles. $27 a piece after shipping. I've been looking on Craig's list for a couple of months in about a 200 mile radius with no luck so i decided to gove these a try. Will update with the quality when I receive them.

    DIY Beer Line Cleaner

I had this problem. My initial guess is that's not a Firestone post. If you have a Cornelius brand keg see if your post fits on the keg. If it does then it's not a firestone post. Take your fitting and go to your LHBS and find one that fits.

    Bottle cleaning

Get a bottle tree and a jet bottle washer. You can just sanitize when you get ready to bottle. I use a vinator bottle rinser that works great for sanitizing. This will help with your need to be green.

    DIY Beer Line Cleaner

I'm having issues. I got the same sprayer, same adapter, I'm using a firestone liquid post. Did the post fit the adapter easily or did you have to use a bit of elbow grease? I get the first thread in or so and then it feels like I'm about to strip the threads, even without the nylon tape. Do I...

Unsure how to setup regulator for kegerator

Just finished mine this weekend. My wife let me put it into the laundry room. Not furniture grade but does just fine behind the laundry room door. Total cost: $240 including 2 kegs. And enough room for 3 more taps.

Unsure how to setup regulator for kegerator

What is the diameter of your beer lines? Most people assume 3/16" but if it's larger you'll need longer lines. You may need to clean your faucet.
