I think those are great projects. Planning my porch, hope to have it finished in the next few weeks. Unfortunately the SWMBO already has furnishing picked out. If I get a lawn chair I can relax in with a home-brew I'll be lucky.

Im liking Dan's answer...be honest. Sometimes the truth hurts and gets the best reaction. I bitched about my cable bill, told them I couldn't afford it (truth). They lowered it to an affordable rate, no loss of service.

Yikes! Must have been some tough stuff. Id say have a home-brew but not sure how that would feel against the raw tooth. Hope its gets fixed soon.

Dan, Same issue cooling wort and fermenting here is in the sunny desert, warm water, warm temp. I cool the wort initially with tap water and then switch to ice water in the immersion chiller. Keep the wort moving, gentle stirs work for me. Fermentation happens inside a Cool Brewing bag...
