Good ideas for my second brew

I'm a noob, but for my understanding is a little more difficult to spawn a nice lager, do you have the required equipment and most important, you can control your temp at all times? I'm more of an ale guy, but a nice lager is always welcome. Are you doing all grain or extract? Cheers from Mexico.

    Caribbean Beginner

Hello, you should invest on this http://www.cool-brewing.com/ I bought one and I can tell you, without it, it would be insanely difficult to me to brew. Why? Because i live in the freaking Sonoran desert (worse than Arizona) and the temps are ridiculous we are at 70F right now (7:46pm). So far I...

Thanks guys. Yeah, my original plan was to leave it 2 weeks, bottling and other 2 weeks for a total of 1 month, I consider it will be enough... Below, nastyness. https://www.dropbox.com/sc/ktism7kexzbgxbd/mJR6grfspG

Hello, thanks for the welcome! I start with a ver basic amber ale, this is the kit I order online, I made half batch because there are no much space in home, this is the 2nd day of fermentation, I had some troubles at first (Pitched yeast in more that "warm" wort) and my cooling bag was not...

But no actvity in the airlock, I know I shouldn´t be too concerned about this but still... also, I figure it out how to hold a better temp, right...

Well I did it, just one concern

Hello again, and thanks for your replies. Um yeah I think it was too warm when I pitched the yeast but right now is bubbling like there's no tomorrow! A lot of activity in the airlock. Im using a Cool Brewing bag, another question, if I close the bag there will be no issues about not letting it...

Well I did it, just one concern

Hello people, well I finally made the jump, my first homebrew, a very basic Amber ale (I love them :D) and of course it took me like 4 freaking hours! I will definitely considering upgrade or plan a little better the wort chilling phase, was a pain in the ass... it took like 40 min, and I left...

Thanks for the awesome replies and great resources! I'll try to add more hops at first, I've been reading my ingredients could have a little more extra punch.

How to differentiate aroma and bitter hops

Thanks for the quick reply, yup, I understand the timing for the hops (bitter, earlier, and aroma at the end), but I thought the hops for this purposes would have different composition between them. So in this case, it doesn't matter if I add whatever package first right? Because they are...
