    iSpindle - DIY Electronic Hydrometer

Started :) is SG already corrected for temperature if I set it in option? Because I entered 1.057@20 manually but it momentally switched to 1.058

BrewPi@ESP8266, no need of RPI and Arduino.

Just to confirm, latest BPL and latest firmware on iSpindel and it works in AP+Station mode, reporting.

quite different but acceptable, mashing now, will do water+OG thing as well. So I need to activate "calibrate iSpindel" in logging and enter tilt in water and then OG at the main page?

oki doki, I will try it next time, means tomorrow :D

yes but with brew and calibrate you need to check the gravity with hydrometer few times during fermentation? Or it is modifying the current formula to fit new datapoints? (not just adding datapoints as this will be useless and wrong because the point of gravity/angle in same liquid changed). I...

I mean if you calibrate your iSpindel based on only water reading and OG, so 2 points only? You can do proper calibration before fermentation, either with yeasts or just sugar concentrations. The calibration curve is not a straight line.

Are you using only 2 datapoint to get the formula?

    iSpindle - DIY Electronic Hydrometer

Not that it is something I can't live without (I usually measure at 20oC anyway) but yes now it works fine! Thank you for bugfix :)

    iSpindle - DIY Electronic Hydrometer

oh ok, yes I am very aware of hydrometer being calibrated at certain temperature. I actually use your html file from github. If I click SG and tilt and then I tick temperature corrected then there is an invalid value error, like it does not see entered SG. Is it only for BRIX? Whatever I enter...

    I meant this dot :)

What is the temperature corrected option? I got the same results if I click it or not or if I also enter like 100 C degree, does not change anything. Is it kind of artifact? Another question, what is everyone using for wireless charging? I wanted to just silicone glue the cap of mine ispindel...

Oh this is weird, what could they change? It should report in the same manner. Point is that in the fridge I have quite low network wifi gain and esp being very close has more gain so I thought I will use that. Well, I will test if mine setup will work or will behave like you wrote. Did you...

Hey, is it better to connect ispindel to bpl via bpl AP or the home network? Is it any bigger stress for esp to run station+AP?

    Modifying my equipment (BIAB?)

It is a bathroom in the apartment, it has good ventilation, easy to clean etc. Also I think this is the cleanest and most aseptic place usually ;)

guys I already changed my setup, it is old topic ;) but thanks for suggestions.

what config info? You must enter details about your home wifi and then it will start in normal mode or just reset it and wait and after some time it should switch (I think so as I never waited :P )

No, this I know, I meant a color dot near a title where data from ispindle is, next to SG, there is usually color dot (single)

I think I have seen somewhere an answer, but what is the color dot next to SG? It is sometimes red, yellow or green?
