i was gonna start with just one keg, picnic spigot... and upgrade to 4 kegs with door taps eventually... after taking some time to research the costs of upgrading to a 4 keg system over time, it was cheaper to just bite the bullet and buy the whole nine yards together now... can't wait to...

    Quick Question about adding Honey...

hey thanks for the links, i scanned over them, but will read them in more detail when time permits... i'm at work right now  thanks for the reply... i think adding it late in the boil sounds good, or even possibly to my primary... i would like to have some of the honey flavor...

    Quick Question about adding Honey...

so basically i can add it anywhere from the beginning of the boil to 15 mins left in the boil. later in the boil might help prevent scorching or carmelization, that kinda makes sense...

    Quick Question about adding Honey...

Tonight I am gonna brew a AHS Texas Bock kit... I am doing the mini-mash version of the kit and just wanted to confirm at what point i would add 2 lbs of honey, so to make a Texas Honey Bock... I am assuming I should just add the honey when I add the malt extract, it this correct...

    Carbonation issues...

all of those variables have stayed the same. it must be the cooling of the priming sugar... i won't cool it next time and give a gentle stir every 10-12 bottles...

    Carbonation issues...

i doubt it... i use grolsch bottles and i always rinse them thoroughly after drinking a beer. i then remove the grommets and wash them in the dishwasher before sterilizing...
