I agree with the OP. I am on my second batch, and am still experimenting, but I am brewing more for flavor, and for a uniqueness. I think I am going to get a sick satisfaction out of asking my friends if they want a Vanilla Cream Ale or a PB/Choco Porter when they ask for a beer and watching...

Thanks! I have been doing some reading, and I think I want to take EdWort's Bee Cave Robust Porter recipe and add the 8oz of peanut butter and another 4 oz of powdered cocoa to the boil much like you did in your recipe. Hopefully that will give me a nice full flavored dark beer with a nice...

Hello all. Just started brewing about 2 months ago. My first batch was a Bock and I missed the step calling for a simple syrup to be made and pitched the sugar directly into the fermenter before bottling. :( Beer tastes alright, though some bottles foam to nothing and others are flat... Oh...
