Blonde Ale Centennial Blonde (Simple 4% All Grain, 5 & 10 Gall)

That's an ok price as specialty grains go. I guess I'm spoiled in my area. Craft breweries that are any good are rare, but our homebrew stores are beyond excellent.

Blonde Ale Centennial Blonde (Simple 4% All Grain, 5 & 10 Gall)

No carapils or centennial ?! What kind of brew shop Is that ? Tell me where it is so I know never to go there! :) Carapils or dextro malt is for body and head retention. 2row has none of those properties. Centennial is pretty crucial IMO to this beers wonderful flavor. I use centennial in about...

Any other recent/to be new Dads?

Babies and toddlers don't understand hangovers, that being said I don't drink a drop of beer when on daddy day care duty... Otherwise I can brew whenever I want, and we do group brews at my house pretty regularly, my kids love the extra house guests.... Aged 4 & 1 ... The 4 year old loves to...

Blonde Ale Centennial Blonde (Simple 4% All Grain, 5 & 10 Gall)

Like a lighter, less hoppy Sierra Nevada ... Or a Sam Adams pale ale (not Boston pale ale)... Except with much more flavorful American hops instead of fuggles and EKG ... I re brewed this weekend, but after a few high gravity Belgians we screwed up the grain bill, so I threw the hop schedule...

    Headed East; Beer Recommendations please.

two hearted is $12.99 a sixer at my local place... if they have it at all. $`10.50 sounds like a good deal to me. I'm also in NJ and EVERYTHING is expensive here, especially beer and cigarettes (not that I smoke)

    Headed East; Beer Recommendations please.

Harvey weinhards is Oregon iirc and it's blech boring. Bells two hearted is excellent stuff usually. If you can find long trail, their unfiltered IPA, IPA and pale ale are excellent. Way above average.

I received my mill in the mail today - he shipped it priority mail with signature required (the lAtter being slightly annoying and required a trip to the P.O. But whatevs) ... The box looked like a forklift ran it over but all the parts were In the box and undamaged, I can't wait to assemble it...

South Jersey/Philly Group Buy... ROUND 35!

    2x GW-2ROW 1x 5360 1x CM-WHET 1/4 x CW-DEXT (or BM‐5347 whichever comes first, willing to go to 1/3 on either if necessary but prefer 1/4)

Blonde Ale Centennial Blonde (Simple 4% All Grain, 5 & 10 Gall)

I usually ferment this I'm the low 60s in a swamp cooler to keep it as clean flavored as possible. 60s shouldn't stop an ale fermentation ... I'm my swamp cooler in the winter months I can easily hold 60F with 12 hour ice block changes In the rope tub.

What's the worst craft brew (commercial) you've had?

Out of this madness comes some REALLY excellent beers though. lagunitas is my new fanboi passion. Lil Sumpin Sumpin makes me weak in the knees it's so yummy and perfect. Their IPA is even excellent. I hate overly bittered IPAs though. Make it bitter but not insane bitter, but give me some...
