    Vertical Brew Stand Question

Here are some other examples I did a lot of looking at other designs looking at their strengths and weaknesses. The one challenge with this design it that the legs are cut at a compound angle.

    Blichmann Burners Size

The only critical measurement is the tabs there are threaded for mounting the burner. They are +- 11-3/16" across. The 'Blichmann' burner is also known as a BG-14 and a Banjo burner.

I voted for fermentation until I read your post. You already have a fermentation chamber so my vote would be build a stand. BCS fermentation can wait.

    Brew Stand Welding Question

Note how the base of the stand in your photo sags? If you angle the legs downward it will create a preload preventing the sag.

mux - beware the spin... MoreBeer puts their part number on products because they can purchase in large volume. I live 2 miles from there shop and have been shopping there for 10 years. You have to pick and choose what you buy from them. Support the little guy I say. Buy from Bobby.

    More Beer refractometer.

Consider it a compliment I guess. MoreBeer is good for perishables (grain, yeast) and that's about it.
