My thought would be a nice winter warmer style ale. Something with a little spiciness to it that would compliment the rum flavor.

The pumpkin ale I'm enjoying right now has a good mix of spices, imo. I choose to add a generous amount of pumpkin meat to the boil instead of the mash though. I think ti provides a bit more flavor than mashing. The down side to it is the amount of trub created in primary fermentation...

Do you think Ahtunum will work out well for dry hoping? This will be my first dry hopped beer. I'm hoping to brew this on Sunday, and I'll update as things progress.
