I started this recipe back in Sep. Unfortunately I was sent away to school before it was ready to bottle, so I had to let it sit for another month and a half in the secondary with hopes that it would be ok when I bottled it when I returned home.
I’m happy to say that things worked out...
I made this recipe back in September and bottled it before I went away to a military school. When I can back I chilled a few bottles down in the fridge and popped a top that night. What an AMAZING beer! This one will be in constant brew rotation. It is currently my favorite. It’s a beer...
I started Yooper's recipie (no changes) back in August. It turned out amazing! I used my CoolBrew cooler and 1/2 gallons jugs of frozen water to keep the temps in range. This will be on my repeat brew list. Thanks for the recipe Yooper!
I've read a lot of posts in the thread about finding and/or scaling recipes. I didn’t see anyone mention one of the sites and methods I’m about to try so I thought I’d pass it on in case anyone else found it useful. I apologize in advance if this was already mentioned.

I'll be following this thread and plan to try my hand at a hopped cider soon. I regularly drink New Day Meadery's ReThinker apple/blueberry dry hopped cider. MAN is that stuff good!

Well it appears as if the gravity is still dropping so I'm going to place this batch in the tub and hope for the best. Thanks for the input everyone. I appreciate it!
It's in a secondary now. I planned on bumping my thermostat up to 78 while I was gone to save some $$$ on power, but if it'll keep the beer better I'll leave it at 72 and stick it in the coldest room. I'll check the gravity again tonight. I sooo wish I had a basement!
Well everyone Im in a spot and wanted to see if any of you can help me out. I made SD-SLIMs Lemon-Lime Hefe Weizen located here https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f70/lemon-lime-hefe-weizen-255659/
I pitched it on the 19th. Its been moving along wonderfully and promises to be an excellent...
I re-pitched three times over an 8-day period before my last 5-gallon batch finally took off. My final (successful) pitch consisted of just sprinkling a packet of Lalvin 1118 on the top and putting the sanitized cloth back over the primary bucket.
Stared up a 2-gallon batch a couple days ago with Notty yeast. Had the rhino farts last night so I hit it with a little bit of yeast nutrient and everything was fine in the morning!
