    I think it depends on what temperature are you fermenting on. I just used the California Lager yeast 2112 @15C (58F) it was in primary for 12 days and no blow off tube was necessary. I hope this helps.

    I need advice about secondary fermentation temperature

    It is not a true lager since i used the 2112 yeast. I'm just not sure by going that cold would negatively effect that particular yeast regarding carbonation after bottling.
