    Fermentation question and nitrogen/keg question

Thanks for the help. I took an FG tonight and it has to go just a tiny bit more, will check again in 2 days. It is a 1.016 and we are looking for 1.010 to 1.014. Darn, I forgot to sanitize my hydrometer set up so had to drink it. I think it will be great on beer gas, nice and smooth. One of...

    Fermentation question and nitrogen/keg question

So I am on my second try at a homebrew. My first was a kit brew and I made an Oatmeal Stout, it started fermenting within 24 hours, and I saw bubbles for about 4 days. It turned out great, really enjoying it. My second attempt is in the primary right now. It is another kit, American Cream...

If you come down for a visit, but sure to go to a place downtown called "El Bait Shop". They have sooooo many great brews on tap, many local microbrews and microbrews from everywhere for that matter. Several on nitro tap as well. :D

First try oatmeal stout, bottle or keg for best flavor?

My first home brew, Brewers Best kit of Oatmeal Stout. Went in the FV, started bubbling in about 8 hours, bubbled strong for 3 days and then less for 2 more days. I realize the darker the beer the less fermentation will occur. Question now, as I am trying to decide if I should bottle or keg...
