1.66 # amber malt
2 oz amarillo hops
.62 oz Simcoe
.53 oz Warrior
all of these 90-0 minutes in boil
1 oz Amarillo
.5 oz Simcoe
.5 oz Warrior
all of these are dry hopped.
1 tsp Irish Moss (15 min)
Wyeast 1099 (Whitbread)

Heat control. I use a 5 gallon pot for 2.5 gallon boils. As soon as it starts to boil, I change the heat setting to 3-4 out of 10. This has worked so far. Just keep an eye on it, and if it starts to get close, just move it off the flame fora bit
Just finished brewing this one... Here is the recipe.
Add the following after reaching boil with 2.5 gallons of water
6# Wheat Extract
8 oz. clear candi sugar
add
1 oz Hersbrucker at 60 minutes
.25 oz Bitter Orange Peel after 45 min boil
.25 oz Coriander after 45 min boil

Unibroue's are always a good choice.... I honestly haven't had a bad beer from them. I have had Le Maudite, Trois Pistoles. La Fin Du Monde, Terrible, Ephemere, Blanche de Chambly, Don de Dieu, and the Eau Benite... All were pretty tasty!
ok, so i just downloaded the trial version of promash. I am trying to enter in the 6 gallon recipe that was just posted today on the forum, but the warrior and simcoe hops are not in the database. How would I go about adding them to the database? are they there in the purchased version?
I'm currently debating between the two. I'd love to get ahold of some more clone recipes, but I'd also like to start creating my own. If you guys had to choose between the two, what's your first purchase?
Is it possible to just cut the ingredients for a 5 gallon recipe in half to make 2 1/2 gallon recipes? It is taking me longer than I thought to drink the 5 gallons, and am looking for more of a variety of beer. The wifey doesn't drink beer, and I only have 3 or 4 a week.
