I did a batch of it at the beginning of winter. I changed the hops, though, due to the hops shortage. I used all Ahtanum hops in it. I should be kegging it in a week or so. My initial tastings of it were pretty promising. Seems like a good recipe.

I apoligize if this is a dumb question, but are the hops from Freshops leaf hops, or do they have pellets and plugs, too?

I was just looking at the Northern Brewer site and was aghast at their hops prices. I don't think I'll be buying any hops from them for awhile.

I put propane, but only under protest. Charcoal tastes much better, and, IMHO, is easier to cook with. Gas is just so much more cheaper, convenient and cleaner that it unfortunately is just no contest. I occasionally will fire up my little Smokey Joe with charcoal, though.
