    Mini brau controller capability

I'm able to bring a 5 gallon batch to a boil with one 1500W element. It is slow to get it there, however and I keep a lid on to help it gain temperature faster until it gets around 200F. So the answer is yes to answer your question about maintaining mash temperature for 5 Gallons. For 10G I...

    Mini brau controller capability

Hey there, This controller is either for a 1500W element or a 2000W element. It can't be split as the wiring and your household circuit isn't designed for the load. At best you would trip a breaker, at worst you could start a fire. What I do with my 2 element 5G setup is plug the second...

    Alternative to Auber PT100 RTDs?

LOL... Auggie, you need to spend more time brewing and less time picking fights with everyone you don't know... I don't use Ali Express. I lived in China for a while. I know how it works Now go make some beer brotha...:drunk::D

    Alternative to Auber PT100 RTDs?

I just ordered a new batch with length of 3M so roughly 9 feet. What length are you looking for?

    Alternative to Auber PT100 RTDs?

Augie. You are a champion street fighter. No seriously, I have no interest in an argument with you. I made mine out of 316 Stainless. 316 stainless costs more. It is more corrosion resistant. You are right. Not a deal with beer brewing. But, these can be used in other applications...

    Alternative to Auber PT100 RTDs?

Of course, I expected a reply from you:) No, they are not. These are 316 Stainless steel, not 304 Stainless. More corrosion resistant. And with better cable. Auber sells the braided option for $12 more I think. The ones on Ebay work. For a while. I wanted to supply those on my units but...

I should mention that this sparge step does actually help increase gravity a bit also.

It definetely is tight to do a 5 gallon batch with the mini. It is possible though. The boil off is around 1/2G per hour. What I started doing with most of my BIAB batches is this. I start with less strike water than the recipe calls for. Once i pull the grains, I leave them to drip over my...

If you think you can build it for yourself, by all means do it if you have the time! I think it's fun, that's how I began this venture. Doing it myself. I've built many systems now and I can break down the cost of things for you. I'm going to reference eBay and Amazon for most things. I'm...

The system comes with a tee in the lid which the probe screws in to. There are disconnects on the lid and on the control box to make cleaning the system easily. It's designed to read the input temperature of the recirculating mash for the most accurate temperature readings.

Hi there, My name is Steven and I'm the owner of Brau Supply. I really would like to clarify my intentions in pricing and presenting my products on the site. In fact, I am offering my brew system in many different configurations. Using a standard Shopify platform allows me to offer the product...

High Gravity Brewing vs Brew Boss vs Another Electric Brewing Setup

Hi. I'm shamelessly self promoting here but I'm the owner of brausupply.com At the moment we are doing small batch 3-5 Gallon BIAB systems but are planning a release of 2 element 120V 5 Gallon systems and also 240V 5 and 10 gallon setups. Check out the quality of the build, and our prices...

    Unibrau Mini, 3 Gallon E-BIAB

I should have put on my site the actual pot size. It is a 6 gallon pot that I'm using for the 3 gallon batches. Able to brew 5 Gallons, it just adds to your brew day time. I'm going to brew a 5 gallon batch with it and get back to how long the brew day is.
