My 2nd batch of beer has been bottled!

I just finished making my 2nd batch of beer! Evil Pilsner. It is now in the bottles and is being carbonated now. Pictured below on top of a case of Yuengling beer. Third batch (Hard Cider) being started now! :mug:

Can my beer make it? (FG reading)

After a week, I do a taste test to see. If the beer tastes flat with no sweetness, it is then ready to bottle. If it still tastes sweet, then I let it go a day or two more before bottling it. :mug:

    My first brew!

My Very First Batch of Beer!

First glass of chilled home brewed IPA! It is said that the beer will be frothy when finished. Though the bottles weren't shaken at all, this is said to be quite normal.

My Very First Batch of Beer!

Yay!! Just tasted the chilled beer! Tasted very good, though it is very frothy when poured into a tall glass. :mug: :ban: __________________

Separating trub, how do you do it?

The trub is supposed to be ok in the beer, but I think that it looks disgusting - like something that I'd rather not talk about!!

My Very First Batch of Beer!

Two bottles of the beer are now in the fridge for chilling. One tipped over and there was a little head on it, signifying that the beer has successfully carbonated!! :ban::drunk:

Mr Beer - Read all about it and ask questions

You will need metal beer caps and a capper. I may get into using the 12-oz beer bottles somewhere down the road, but for now, I like using the 1-liter plastic bottles and caps.

My Very First Batch of Beer!

I'm about to order more bottles for the next batch, along with two more different beer mixes. My next batch will be hard apple cider beer or old wheat beer, or Pilsner.

Mr Beer - Read all about it and ask questions

The manual that comes with the beer kits strongly suggests that you use either bottled spring water or install a water filter on your kitchen faucet. I installed a water filter on mine. It's cheap, inexpensive and it will save you money in the long run, over constantly buying bottled water...

    My first infection ever

In addition to proper sanitizing, whether I'm making beer or not, I keep the lid and the vent cover tightly on the fermenter so that no flies, insects or other univited guests get into the unit. I hope that this never happens to me, but you can never be too careful!

My Very First Batch of Beer!

Thanks! The company hasn't been around that long. It came out near the end of 2012. But according to them, they've already sold hundreds of these beer kits to satisfied customers who have tried & liked them! The conical-style fermenter is very unique over the keg-style fermenters...

    My first infection ever

So sorry to here about this! Chances are, the infection or "virus" might have come from improper sanitizing practices. The manual that came with my kit stresses that proper sanitizing be maintained and that it is very crucial in the success of making a perfectly brewed batch of beer. I...

My Very First Batch of Beer!

Prior to the beer having been bottled, here it is in the fermenter several days before. The flavor of the beer is IPA, one of my favorites! :mug:

My Very First Batch of Beer!

I'm in the process of making my first batch of beer, using the Brewdemon beer kit. I've always wanted to try making my own beer for a long time! Here's the beer after being put in the bottles with the priming sugar. When trying to press my thumb into the bottles, I've found that they have...

Mr Beer - Read all about it and ask questions

A friend of mine has the Mr. Beer kit, but he hasn't used it in a while. Trying to get him to make some more, but he just hasn't yet. :mug:
