Last time I used ice I had 14lbs and felt like I should've bought the 20lb bag. Buy more than you think you need. If you have any left over you can just save it for the next time you brew.

I have used both cheap store brand distilled and spring water for the kits that I did and they've all tasted fine so far.

I did that exact same thing to my first beer and ever since I attach the airlock to the lid before putting the lid on the bucket.

I live in an apt with people on both sides and below me. Not a single one of them has said anything when I'm brewing.

So I brewed my first batch ever on Halloween day and then kinda forgot about it....... It's been sitting in my primary fermentor ever since then. Do you guys think it is still good?
