    Infected?

I saw a post which made me a little worried, thought I'd get everyone's opinion since I plan on bottling tomorrow. I think it is fine, however after cooling when I was pouring into my bucket I did miss the strainer a bit and a little gunk got into the bucket which is what the brown stuff is...

    Good Beer Bottles To Use

I have a bunch of bottles, don't think they'll work but here's what I have that I'm not sure on - blue moon (pop off but has ridges), corona, taurino, & pacifico

    Hydrometer types

Getting a hydrometer and have seen different prices at different places, are all hydrometers the same? For example if I picked one up at a pet store?

    I'm Scared

I agree, I just care that it's drinkable for the first batch. However what do you think about the frequent bubbling after a week? Should I still be waiting for 1 bubble a minute to switch to second fermenter?

    I'm Scared

I started my first brew last Wednesday, and as of today the airlock is bubbling about 5 times a minute. Two side notes: I live in a small apartment that tends to get hot when we cook. Also when I pitched the yeast I stirred it in. Could either of those things ruin the batch or is there...

    Good Beer Bottles To Use

I drink all sorts of beers so I have a variation of bottles, I know that to reuse bottles for bottling you need to have pop offs but wanted to know which brands are good to reuse and which to stay away from. Thanks!
