What amount, or weight, do you suggest for a higher Chloride to Sulfate ratio, say 2:1?

I am looking for ideas for a telescoping hop pole. Something that can extend/collapse as needed with a 'T' top to drop lines for the bines to grow.
I don't know if PVC is plausible due to flex.
