    Why not just do BIAB and eliminate all those steps and extra equipment and extra cleaning an stuck sparges and low efficiencies and so on and so on.

    I live in Kingston Ontario, I also can't find a mill. I'm to the point now that I will probably cross the border an go to walmart and buy one, it doesn't make sense why you can get one at walmart in the US but not Canada. We get the shaft on shipping up here.

    i just broke my hydrometer!! now what

    I know what a hydrometer is, it's just been so long since i needed to use one. Wort goes into the fermenter, 4-6 weeks later beer goes into the keg, easy! People seem to worry way to much about taking hydrometer readings!

    Dry hopping questions...

    Are you using pellets of leaves? Pellets tend to sink, so you pretty much gobble them up in your first quarter of the keg. Try. Dry hopping 10 days before kegging, it allows the beer more time to absorb the taste and flavour of the hopps.

    ya 33f actually it's 32.6 f I st regulator to 25 rolled for 10 mins, so leave it at the 25 till tomorrow, vent then lower to ? I have 10 feet of 1/4 braided line with pony tap all in fridge!
