    Drill bit orifice size

Wouldnt the size need to be different for low pressure propane? Also Onehoppguy I would love to hear more about your tests.

    Drill bit orifice size

Onehoppyguy, looks like you deal alot w/ low pressure on these banjo burners which should be identical to my blichmanns. So is the size you mentioned the best for fuel, heating or combo. Just looking for a little info. Also can I pick that bit up most places or is it hard to get. Thanks...

    Drill bit orifice size

Sorry I should have been more clear, I am converting to low pressure propane. So does the 3/32 not sound like a good idea?

    More pressure confusion

I probably should have mentioned that the above part # is for the lp conversion kit. I hope to get some answers if that is clear enough.

    Brutus wiring

Thanks Krazydave, you read into my question perfectly. I cant get jfrizzell's link to work for some reason. I have picked up the following ground bar kit. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Square-D-QO-HomeLine-Grounding-Bar-Kit-PK7GTA-NEW-/130482024689 So would one of these each work for the...

    Brutus wiring

Ok, so in the process of my brutus type build and I have some wiring questions. Lonnies plans show a ground, neutral, and hot bus bars. Are all these the same thing? If so doesnt the hot bar need to be insulated? If they are not the same thing, where do I buy neutral and hot bus bars? Not...

    More pressure confusion

Alright I ordered some honeywell vr8200a 2132 solenoid/controls,pilots and thermocouples for my build. The honeywells came w/part 393691 and it says that it is for regulator adjustment of 8-12" wc. I thought these honeywells were meant for low pressure but wouldnt 12" be considered high pressure?

    low pressure regulator

Clear up a couple of things for me. First what qualifies as low pressure? Second, I have already ordered or have all these parts, cant I drill out the orifice w/a specific sized drill bit? Also I assume that the blichmann burners will run just fine off the low pressure if I change them over...

    low pressure regulator

My mistake I thought they were low pressure, why would I need to replace the orifice if thats what they come with? Also I guess these regulators would work with my honeywell 8200 solenoids?

    low pressure regulator

Just want to make sure on something. I will be firing two lwo pressure blichmann burners by the way of a gas beam. Will the regulator that comes w/the blichmanns work for both at the same time. I feel it should but just trying to solve any problems before the become one. thanks

    gas solenoid valve questions

Trying to make sure Ive got all this right, is it best to use a needle valve or ball valve, or something else entirely? thanks again

    gas solenoid valve questions

I will probably want to change it the flame somewhat frequently, should this be a ball or needle valve? Thanks for the info on the wire as well.

    gas solenoid valve questions

Thanks, mine will be open to the air so cooling should not be an issue. More questions, I will need to mount some sort of valve to control the flame. What type of valve and where should it go, before or after the solenoid? Also I need to pick up some wire for everything on this project...

    gas solenoid valve questions

Another question on the transformer, could I get by with one, or should I use one for each honeywell?

    gas solenoid valve questions

Ok, that makes sense, just a simple flame sensor more or less. Thanks again for the help, I think an order is going to be placed today.

    gas solenoid valve questions

Am I thinking of this wrong or couldnt I just use the temp probe from my love controller into a thermowell that I already have? Thanks again guys
