    Anyone use Envirotex Lite????

I ended up using a 16oz. kit. Any less wouldn't have been enough. It covered everything by about 1/8", maybe a little less. I'll take a picture when I get home tonight.

    Carbonating in a Sanke?

I have filled a 1/6 barrel Sanke with homebrew. I removed the spear and siphoned the beer in to the keg and then replaced everything. I have chilled the beer down to 38 degrees. As far as I understand, I just need to set the regulator to 11 psi(for 2.5 volumes) and then hook up the coupler and...

Trouble wiring my ebay temp controller

Thank you so much for the info! The cord comes out of the back of the kegerator in a hollowed out area where the connections are made. I plan on mounting the controller into that area and splitting the cord right after it comes in. That way the install will be super clean. Thanks again for...

Trouble wiring my ebay temp controller

I just got in my temperature controller from ebay. I want to use it to control the temperature on my kegerator. It appears to be different than the one in the other thread on this forum. Can anyone give me any advice on how to wire this thing up? There are three wires coming from the power...

    Wood covered kegerator build

Since I only had very simple tools and no biscuit joiner,I joined the frame pieces with liquid nails. The inner panel was screwed to the frame which really helped tie it all together.

Gas line decreases pressure for force carbonation???

I understand that and agree. But that line has to pose some sort of restriction doesn't it?

Gas line decreases pressure for force carbonation???

I was thinking, I know that 3/16" line has 2 psi of resistance per foot. So does this mean that when I am figuring out what psi to force carb at for a given Co2 volume, I need to factor that gas line length in? Ex. 38 degrees 2.5 volumes of Co2 =11psi With 2 feet of gas line from the...

    Wood covered kegerator build

Here are some pics of the stained panels, the one with the trim piece came out too light. I plan on staining it darker. I might even stain it ebony. I used pre-stain conditioner so the stain isn't getting as dark as I'd hoped. The last pic is the rack I made to sit at the bottom of the...

    Wood covered kegerator build

I'll definitely have to check out Naughton's for the copper. Here are some new pics. It is coming along well. The side and front panels are done. I drilled pilot holes to attach the top panel to the side panels. I drilled some 3/8" holes halfway through and am using wood plugs to cover the...

I want to build a keezer - How to do it with No woodworking skills?

I am a pretty crappy and inexperienced carpenter. I am in the middle of a kegerator build myself using wood. I have done everything with a hand saw and miter box($14.99 at Home Depot) and a circular saw(I borrowed this from a friend but you can find one on craigslist for less than $50 and then...

    Wood covered kegerator build

Well, I made a little more progress. I got all of the side border pieces cut and have one side panel almost done. It just needs a little more sanding and wood putty before I stain it. I went to price out the copper tubing for the tap tower and was blown away. The only box of soft copper I...
