Really late to this thread.. How hard is it to bend the coils? Looking to pick up a freezer without coils, but most of the ones i see have them. Found some on craigslist but they have them also.

It is now New Years day... Must have missed it.

Picked up my first upgraded piece. SS Brewtech Brew Kettle. Took some advice from you all and started there. Going to start small and not spend to much money now to save for later! Also was able to get it for a decent deal to have enough to buy some more parts as well!

They seem to be pricey but like you said beautiful! But they are cheaper then a fermenter. But then again having a nice fermenter to primary and secondary seems like a time saver.

How are you liking OR? We lived up in WA for quite a while. They had a great microbrew scene. Man I wish I could get me some Mack and Jacks! Definitely going to try a clone of that! Do you ever make it out to Rogue Brewery?

Yikes! I was just checking this thing out at our local store. I'm sure not all experiences are like yours but good to know before buying. Luckily I have time to research what set up I want to go with.
