    Brewery Logo Inside

LOL. I am not pro or against the IRA, but it was not a dark point in Irelands history. Rising up against a tyrannical gov't like that of Brittan is not a bad thing. The Americans did it why not the Irish. As for my personal history, my Ancestors moved here in the early 1900's to escape all of...

    Brewery Logo Inside

That was my new designers issue. She said the I looked like a J It is just some font that I downloaded from the web. I am sure that she is going to make it a ton better.... I am just anxiously awaiting the first draft from a real designer.

RIMS Build on a budget - but still pretty advanced

That is nice. That type of thing is what all of my customers build. I look at my little box and the time it is taking and all of the wire management, then I see some customers with their 72"x40" boxes loaded with controls and it is just amazing. I was at a customer the other day that had to...

RIMS Build on a budget - but still pretty advanced

I will be adding washers :( My only concern when designing was more surface area that some liquid can seep into and hold stagnant. I guess it is really a minor issue. Guess I have to go get some washers this weekend.

RIMS Build on a budget - but still pretty advanced

You can not really see it. I am only fusing the control circuits and the pump circuits. The heaters are a direct run from breaker to terminal block to contactor to heater all in the same GA wire so the CB is enough to protect that. The fuses for the pumps and the control circuit are inside of...

RIMS Build on a budget - but still pretty advanced

Nope, It has been tested. It is actually heavy walled tube. This tubing is left over from heavy machinery for the dairy industry. By calculation the keggle will be approx. 120 Lbs fully loaded, and me and a friend were able to stand on the rails for one pod without issue. That is a total of 350...

RIMS Build on a budget - but still pretty advanced

The keggles are resting on the lower rails with the upper rails keeping them firmly in place. There are no burners as this is a full electric setup. There will be 2 5500W elements and one smaller yet undecided one for the rims heater. I will actually be upgrading the electrical service to 200A...

    Brewery Logo Inside

I actually was looking for some old IRA logos from around 1916 ;) for my inspiration, but I didn't find anything that I liked.... Most of them we guns and such.

    Brewery Logo Inside

I posted this on one of the forums that I own and one of the members took it under their wing.... I will have a professionally designed one soon. I didn't like it straight, and there are several reasons, but the biggest is that I really wanted it skewed.

    Let's Go Buffalo!

I am a noobie here myself, but welcome anyhow. I am here from Buffalo as well. If you ever need any help or extra tools, give me a shout, I have amassed a TON of stuff at this point. I will second Niagara Traditions. They are really good people and are very knowledgeable.

RIMS Build on a budget - but still pretty advanced

I know that a 20A outlet is cheaper, I can get a good Hubbell one for about $7 whereas the breaker is around $40. MY thing is that I want to either hard wire this, or use twistlocks to ensure secure connections. I live in Buffalo, opposite side of the state from you. My design for the...

    Brewery Logo Inside

Well, all of our beers have there own images and "logos", I would rather call it artwork, but we decided that since our beer is getting into more peoples hands that we should name the brewery and create a logo for it as well. Here is the first draft of what I am sure will be like 50 revisions...

RIMS Build on a budget - but still pretty advanced

Well, I am about two weeks into my build and decided I should start a thread to show what I am doing and the direction that I am taking it. Unfortunately my camera had a run in with some rain and does not work, so I apologize for the horrible cell phone pics. I will replace them with better pics...

Wifeyclaus has been reading the forums

Cool! I told my wife I needed two pumps and she could make it a xmas gift instead of me buying them, she just shook her head and walked away. Needles to say I didn't get pumps this morning and now have to order them. Only a three week setback.

help with a VERY simple control box

10GA = 30A 12GA = 20A 14GA = 15A As a basic rule of thumb. Length of the wires matters over long runs due to voltage drop, but I doubt as though you have to worry about that.

    The Christmas Keezer

WOW! Those apples look delicious. How much did that freezer run you before all of the modifications? I have been trying to find one reasonable, and I think that my definition of reasonable must be skewed.

Need help from the Eletrical/Electonics experts!

He can use a 700-HG42Z12 which is 40A 12V DC, DPDT $27.20 on PLCCenter or a 700-HG47D12 which is a 40A 12V DC, DPST (not listed on PLCCenter, but readily available from other AB suppliers. I would post a ballpark price, but I am not in my office to look it up.)

Need help from the Eletrical/Electonics experts!

I am in the middle of my control panel build, and using all Allen Bradley Components. I think that the quality is worth the price. My Temp Controller cost $200+ alone... The relays and bases are around $20 (My cost), and all of my selector switches/push buttons are about $30-$80 each. I am...
