Just a quick update. I just got off the phone with FedEx, and ground service is not going to be running today. This again means no matter what we do no orders will be shipped out today.

The removal of snow and the lack of salt is by far the biggest issue. A snow plow or salt truck has never been down my street and never will. To make matter worse literally the only "streets" that ever see plows or salt are the highways. Even a short 3-4 mile commute on heavily trafficked...

I am doing that on purpose to help keep the amount of hops we sell manageable for now. I did not want to start offering them and then sell through a 1000 lbs of hops in a few days and be out of stock.

I would just recommend ordering as soon as you can. This time of year FedEx and UPS do not guarantee any delivery times due to the very high volumes. So I would not chance it by waiting until the last minute. Thanks, Ed

Alton Brown has never been to the store. :( I am not sure if he is an actual homebrewer or not.

This is what we did last year. Link Of course last year it took almost a week to ship all of the orders that came in that day, so any sale this year will have to include a lot of patience.
