I want to make wine from Mountain Dew Throwback

This is what I got just to try before I spend $55 on a box of Mt. Dew. I was with my wife at Wally World and they had this Soda Stream thing. I was looking at the different flavors and this lady came up to me and said that the Mountain Mist tastes just like Mt. Dew!! So I read that one single...

    Making my own oak cubes.

If you were to do that, Make sure your tree isn't diseased. If it has been down for quite a while I would pass on by that idea. Other than that if it is a white oak tree, Have at it!!!

    More wine.

I wouldn't use that barrel for your wine. The brine that the olives were in will not come out of the wood. Your better off buying a new barrel. There is a manufacture that is not to far from my house that makes barrels. A co-worker said that they are not expensive to buy right from the factory...

    Cold Fermenting

I would think so too but I was drinking a desert wine the other day and looked up some info on it and the winery said that they cold ferment their wine for a few months. I would like to try to make a wine for my wife like that since she is into the desert wines.

I want to make wine from Mountain Dew Throwback

I had to comment on this... I have been thinking about making wine from Mountain Dew syrup. I go to a gas station that is here by my house and I asked them if I could buy a box of syrup. The cost for the box is just over $50 and it's a 5 gallon bag. The mix ratio is 5:1. Five parts water to one...
