    Need help with water report

My father lives at the base of "Gold mountain" In Cave Creek. There is a natural spring that comes out of the ground up there. It trickles out like a slow garden hose. I would love to do a comparison brew. natural spring vs. Sparklets.

    Need help with water report

Its sparklets water delivered to our office. I'm not sure if the base is Phoenix water and then they filter the heck out of it...? Would make sense.. Hauling water is pricey.. Any recommendations on what to do to this water for good all around brewing water.

    Warning signs of homebrew addiction

When your addicted enough to think you can watch a 2 year old AND pull off and all grain brew day simultaneously... I made it happen... but never again.

    My Sankey Fermenter Build

If you get around to building one I would love to see it. I noticed that Better Bottle makes a small plastic racking arm that requires a 1/2" hole or so, and is removable for cleaning. It might be a great option. Does any body use these small racking arms?

    So who's brewing this weekend?

Im brewing 12 gallons of a Bitburger clone. This will be my first Lager/pilsner. I plan on using my new 15.5 gallon fermenter (see build) https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f11/my-sankey-fermenter-build-340162/ I then plan on using this yeast cake for 12 gallons of Oktoberfest in about three...

Thanks, I have read the stickies, and based off what I understand it seems like my water is almost RO water. But I'm far from an expert.

    Phoenix Group buy on grain

Im up in the North Valley and would love to initiate a group buy for the Phoenix area. I have looked and haven't seen one in area so I thought this would be fitting. We have trucks deliver to my office often and I could store the grain in a air conditioned room until it was all picked up from...

    Medium draw-ish Set up

I would look on craigslist for a bar that went out of business and purchase their Glycol system. It will be awesome and hassle free. No body wants warm foamy beer. Not to mention wasting half a glass each pour. After all, We all work really hard for the beer we have. My bet is you could...

    Need help with water report

I have been brewing for the last year using this water in the attached report. My beers have been great, even scored some great numbers in competitions. Its Sparklets water that is delivered to my office that we use in the water cooler. It tastes great. But, I have this notion in the back of...

    I'm scared...

I have to throw in my experience here, only because I was in a similar boat. Last October (2011). I was approached by my neighbor and he said " you drink beer right..? " Do I ever! I said. He proceeded to tell me about how somebody at work gave him these, but he doesn't drink blah blah...

    Can You Brew It Database

I brewed a 12 gallon batch of this shortly after hearing the pod cast. I have high expectations, it's cold crashing right now. With any luck I will keg it up this weekend!

    My Sankey Fermenter Build

Thanks, I hadn't thought of that, but the "dish" shape at the bottom or top of the keg isn't a steep enough angle to get the trub and yeast out. I think I will eventuality put a rotating racking arm in on the side. Where can one purchase a rotating racking arm?

    My Sankey Fermenter Build

Thanks, the process of making took about 3 hours. BUT, prior to that I spent a lot of time thinking about execution. The tri clamp set was $45.50 through St. pats. I thought it was super cheap considering some of of my sources wanted as much as $125.

popping the question, how did you do it?

I took my wife and a Nut Shell Pram (small wooden row boat) up north where it wasn't 110 degrees. We spent the weekend in a log cabin. The second day there I took her in the row boat out into the middle of the lake. After about 10 minutes I noticed the back of the boat started taking on a...
