I just rehydrated two packs of LC-1118 and pitched it 24 hours after I mixed up the lemon/sugar mixture. Was fermenting like mad within 12 hours :)

That sounds like my search routine yesterday too lol. I managed to get a full size fridge for free, so I'm just trying to get it setup with 2-3 faucets on either the front or side. Does ~$250-280 seems to be a good ballpark figure for a 2 keg setup?

A very true statement....but I'm looking to bottle some Skeeter Pee lol. Planning on giving it out at a few up coming events and I think the clear bottles will distinguish it nicely from my other home brews in brown bottles...

But no suggestions as to a place to actually purchase 12oz clear pry offs? :-/

Just started my first batch of SP last Wednesday with 2 packs of EC-1118 that I rehydrated, 24 hours after I first mixed it all up in the primary. By Saturday the hydro reading was 1.040 (OG = 1.070), so I threw in the last quart of lemon juice, energizer and nutrients, and by Sunday evening...

+5 gallons just started in primary! =454

Good call...I'll grab one and the grill by the pool later lol. On a side note, I checked in again this morning on the brew and it looks a little better today. I can see a bunch of little yeasties floating around the edge of the carboy and less of the rafts up top, so I'm not as worried now.

Hmm...just might can do that. The reason I wanted to empty out the carboy is because I'm going to dry-hop another IPA this weekend....can I just throw the hops in the primary or does it need to be racked to a secondary for dry hopping?

Hmmm...I have yet to crack it open since I racked it. I was hoping to bottle it maybe Wed/Thurs this week so I can free up the carboy for a batch this weekend. Might it be too early to bottle with this newest development?

Well, I racked it into the secondary 5 days ago (Tuesday) and I was out of town since Thursday...didn't notice anything Thursday and it's come about since then. So I guess over the past 4 days? Makes me sad :(

So how about something similar to this. I tried to tip the carboy up on the side a bit to get some of the condensation down for the pic...and the little *dots* look like a bunch of c02 bubbles...but then again I can't decide. They might have a slight fuzzy tendency :confused: This IPA is on...
