    Force carbonation question

Good question, I wondered the same when I first started, yet I've always just force carbed for a week or so at my proper PSI before enjoying. However, you could do the following as you asked... Put the quick disconnect on the beer out post - as mentioned, be sure to drain any pressure from the...

    Recommendations for a Kegerator Fan

Yes, placement is important for noise reasons. I use a Vantec Tornado fan as it actually produces static pressure to move the air. However even with my keezer in the basement, I can hear it running. I have it on a timer to run 20 minutes every hour, but still, there is a hum.

There is going to be a shortage of good beer in California...

Pretty much this, not a law, but following corporate procedure. They probably get kickbacks/rebates from the "approved" items on the purchase list. I deal with this everyday in my profession. Just buying what you want in a corporate world is seen as "leakage", and is frowned upon.

    Blood Orange Juice + Beer

I'm playing around with a recipe using blood, lemon, and orange ingredients. I was planning on using fresh for the lemons, and this for the blood orange. I've used that product before professionally and I think it's great. Here is the recipe as well FWIW. Thank you. Recipe: Flesh and Blood...

What came in the mail for you today?

The ball lock quick disconnects for my glycol setup. Granted, I've already sent them back and ordered the right thing with a shutoff!

Anyone gotten the 40% off at HomeBrewSupply.com to work?

No go here either, even on items I've used coupon codes on before this one doesn't work.

    Foreclosed Brewery Grains (worth it?)

I'd be in to help as well. Right by you in SH as well. So let me know. I wanted to start with my own grain anyway.

Doubling Down: SS Brewtech Conical + FTSS + Glycol Power Pack

Ahh, USplastics, I used to use them all the time when I was building water cooled PCs. Thank you for the information, I'll get those parts in and should be good. As for the condensation, yes, it's a bit of a pain, I could insulate the lines, I do have some insulation left, perhaps I'll...

Doubling Down: SS Brewtech Conical + FTSS + Glycol Power Pack

I got the disconnects in today yet I must have F'd up. I bought ball lock disconnects on amazon yet they have no block for the fluid. Perhaps I should get cam-lock, yet I can't find any proof that these block the liquid as well. Also, I just started cold crashing with the system today and I...

Dumping the Trub with Conical Fermenter

Great idea, I'll use that next time. I also just had the revelation to use the waste water from my CFC to clean the mash basket and such. Worked great, it's great to see the efficiencies improve with each batch! Thank you.

Doubling Down: SS Brewtech Conical + FTSS + Glycol Power Pack

Can anyone shed some light on how to remove the glycol lines safely and clean? I did a test run tonight and I had some clamps on the lines but I got lots of runoff from the coil inside, I disconnected the top first, but it didn't run down. So basically the fluid in the coil just ran out, anyway...

    FTSs Brewtech Glycol Chiller

Got mine today and it's all setup, currently waiting for fermentation to begin and then I'll start chilling, but I did test it out and the ftss system is doing great. Although I'd love to have it automated through brewpi as I had once before...

Anyone have a Kuhnhenn Dripa AG recipe?

I plan on going over there on Sunday and picking up another kit, so I'll get that over then. Keep in mind the instructions are just that. All of the grains and everything are just in ziplock bags and blended together.
