Hooking up Homebrew at a bar/pub

There's a thread here somewhere showing a sankey fitting on a corny lid. Time to put your google fu to good use.

    Indiana Single Tier Stainless (unassembled)

1 1/4" 304 stainless steel tubing required to make the attached plans. Decided to go the BIAB route before I got this tigged together for me. Purchased for $450 from Steel House in Indianapolis. Do not tell my wife. Free + a few beers to a good home. Local pickup in Broad Ripple only.

Spring time means home brewery reorg (and a CBS gripe)...

Well it's spring time here in Indy. Again this year that means a garage brewery reorg. I've nearly gotten rid of the last vestiges of my 3V setup and have wholly embraced BIAB. Also got around to installing my on demand water heater and HFT lift. All coming along nicely. Now my gripe: I...

    Arduino Yun Automated Brewery

I started out with a traditional discrete component control panel for my 3-vessel brewery. About a year ago I switched to a single vessel BIAB configuration and so gutted much of the panel. End of last year I was hired to develop implement automation at a distillery Indy. I thought no better...

Control Panel: PIDs and Switches, or one large touch LCD?

Your timing is most fortuitous.. I've just started on a proof-of-concept project for a much large distillery process control effort. I too have a discrete components controller for my 3-vessel home brewery -- PID for BK & MT and PWM for BK. Recently I've switched a a single vessel system...

    Corny Kegs

Well wtf does that mean? Does is mean you have a picture of a polebarn full or cornies or you have an offer to sell??

    Bottom Drain mash tun disadvantages

Only that if you'll (most likely) need to cut a hole in whatever surface you're brewing on. I loved my (since then sold) inverted keggles.

Ack! My kettle is too large

@stonebrewer -- while at Lowes this morning I had an idea -- glass blocks! @TX brewing -- I consult (recipe development) for distillery in town. This is perfect for small batches of anything other than corn. There's no amount of rice hulls that enables you to lauter 35 lbs of corn...

Ack! My kettle is too large

In my excitement to switch from a classic 3-vessel rig to eBIAB I purchased a 160 quart kettle from Colorado BS. It's a fantastic piece of kit for large brews. Much less than 20 gallons and it doesn't work so well. It's absolutely impossible to brew a 5 or 6 gallon batch as nearly 8 gallons of...

    Indiana Carboys -- Cheap!!

    (2) five-gallon and (2) six-gallon carboys for $40 + some of your homebrew. Pickup Broad Ripple area of Indianapolis. Common, you know you want these!

Safe to drink raw Sugar wash?

Interesting first post. You'll be just fine. There's methanol in beer, sugar wash, and wine. Much more in fruit based concoctions. At least use DME rather than sugar. P.S. You may be in the wrong forum.

    Indiana Four 5-gallon glass carboys / $75

Subject says it all. Switching to PET. $65 for all four. Indianapolis / Broad Ripple area.

    Used corny keg prices

As vendors / merchants switch to bag-in-a box for their postmix soda systems there will of course be a dropoff in the availability of used cornies. What I have seen is an increase in the availability of new kegs. I bought my first cornies for about $20 each (this was about a decade ago)...

    Indiana Three bottom-drain keggles

Pictures appear to appear (!!) Ok in the thread.

    Indiana Three bottom-drain keggles

Three bottom-drain keggles. "Tops" (really the bottom) removed; lids for all three and 1 NorCal hinged false bottom included. I'll throw in three 2" stainless ferrules so you can drop them off at your local welding shop . Switched to 160 quart eBIAB so no longer need these. $250 for all.
