    Filtering wort

    It is okay to have hops in the primary right? I love adding hops to the primary, even the secondary to age. Doesn't the acidity help control bacteria? I use a 2 stage fine mesh strainer and pour the wort through.

    Secondary with coffee beans

    The last time I put coffee in a Russian Imperial, I boiled about 6oz. of grounds in the wort. You could put them in the secondary with the beans ground up or even just add some really strong brewed coffee. I would imagine that whole beans would not impart much flavor.
