What I did for beer today

Picked up 100lbs of local grown and malted 2row grain. Gonna take a bit of experimenting with barley crusher settings. I love the idea of brewing a 100% local beer here in SW Ontario, Canada tho. How Does This Carbonator Work.. And Can It beBuild One :)

I had started my own build based on the Blickmann, ended up buying their kit anyway. Far superior carb stone than what ir readily available alone. I now also use it to oxygenate my wort otw to the fermenter as well. I added inline temp monitoring so i could adjust the pressure if it heats up...

    So who's brewing this weekend?

Its just a 5k btu window shaker ac unit.... pretty standard. Hardest part is figuring out the best way to plumb it all and the pumps / controlls.. As per the norm, i try to over engineer everything and it takes time lol...

    So who's brewing this weekend?

Not too sure what to brew. Got the goods to do another Otters Nuggetts. (Marris Otter smash with Nuggett hopps) Last one was pretty good, easy, inexpensive. That or another basic Porter??? Installed 3- 3way valves on my rig hoping to reduce moving hoses around. Eager to try it out.
